Classwork: Today we played the blame game to discuss and analyze who is responsible for WWI.
Homework: Final Draft due Sunday, 10:00 pm TII
Classwork: Today we used the first part of class to make any final edits to our Battle Posters. We then had a gallery walk to take notes on the different battles from WWI.
Homework: Make sure you critically read the article, "Who is Responsible for WWI?"
Classwork: Today we reviewed the causes of WWI. We took notes on the early stages of war. I introduced the WWI Battle Poster assignment and the rest of class was used for this. I also passed out the Critical Read for Friday.
Homework: Battle Poster if needed - you will have 15-20 min tomorrow to finish
Classwork: Today we completed the district common assessment. Any remaining time was used to work on the Rough Draft
Homework: Rough Draft due tonight by 10:00 PM, TII
Classwork: Today we reviewed the causes of WWI and watched a documentary about the start of the war. Any remaining time was used as a work period.
Homework: None! Enjoy Thanksgiving Break
Classwork: Today we reviewed the expectations of the outlines. We used the rest of class as a work period.
Homework: Outlines due by 10:00 pm Sunday Night. Please upload to TII
Classwork: Today we reviewed outline structure and created a template in class. We spent 7th period in the library working on the outlines
Homework: Keep working on the Outline
Classwork: Today we reviewed different types of plagiarism and how to avoid it. The remaining time was used as a work period.
Homework: Keep working on Integrated Folktale paper. We will review outlines tomorrow
Classwork: Today we discussed the nuts and bolts of the integrated research assignment. We also reviewed Research Q's and Thesis statements. All writing resources can be found on the writing resource tab of my website. We used 7th period to work in the library.
Homework: Continue working on research paper
